MEN’S REAL MADRID GEAR

The term “Real” is common in football, but rarely does it come from actual royalty. When King Alfonso XIII gave the Madrid club the name in 1920, he also granted them permission to use the crown symbol in their team crest. Show your loyalty to the club in the men’s Real Madrid collection by adidas. Stay cool and comfortable with Climalite and Climachill technologies in men’s Real Madrid jerseys. Layer up against the cold with men’s apparel like crew sweatshirts and hoodies. Rep your team in streetwear style with 3-Stripes hats and graphic tees. Gear up for match day and every day with adidas men’s Real Madrid apparel.

ADIDAS ARCHIVE

Real Madrid has a deep history in football. Long before adidas partnered with the club to create the men’s Real Madrid collection, Adi Dassler released the first Samba in 1950 as a traction-soled football shoe to help players train on frozen ground. For the 1954 FIFA World Cup™, the German national team wore a studded variation of the Samba and beat the “unbeatable” Hungarians in the final match. With that, adidas became a household name in the sport, positioning Samba as a footwear favorite for generations of indoor football players and style creators to come. In 1970 we made the first official match ball of the World Cup, the adidas Telstar, which introduced the now-iconic black and white panel design. adidas has gone on to supply the match ball for every Men’s World Cup since then and every Women’s World Cup since 1999. With every piece we introduce—from the Predator boots first released in 1994, to the revolutionary adidas x Parley jerseys in 2016, made using Parley Ocean Plastic™, to the Real Madrid apparel of today—adidas pushes innovation to provide the highest quality gear to football creators at all levels around the world.
